Pre-Wrath of the Lich King goals

Just so I can have a clearer picture of what I want before Wrath. Backdated since it's mostly just rambling to myself. This is likely extremely boring; you've been warned. :-)

Ideale
- All professions to 375 (except maybe fishing).
- Flying mount of some kind, possibly epic flyer.
- Full or almost-full set of S2 gear, including crossbow.
- Exalted or close with: Cenarion Expedition; Consortium; Netherwing*; Argent Dawn**; Shattered Sun Offensive; Frostwolf; the Defilers***.

* Maybe. I want one of the flying mounts, but if the rep grind sucks or I decide to get a hippogryph instead, I probably won't bother.
** For backstory purposes. And because the tabard is neat. I really wanted to have this done first, until I saw some of the rep rewards in Outland. I know that if there's an Argent Dawn-related faction in Northrend, it won't carry over, don't worry!
*** I eventually want to be exalted with all three battleground factions, but do not know if I have time before Wrath of the Lich King comes out, unless I sacrifice some of the Outland grinds. Since I am well into Friendly with the Defilers and halfway to Exalted with Frostwolf, I think these two are doable.

Ahami
- Get to 70.
- Herbalism to 375. Skinning at 375 or Alchemy around 300, depending on whether I keep skinning or not. Cooking and first aid to 375.
- Riding wolf. Black war kodo. Flying mount of some kind.
- Be somewhat decently geared (i.e., not all greens — I'm not as focused on getting the welfare epics, since Ahami will probably ding 70 sometime in October).
- Exalted with: Orgrimmar for the wolf at 40 (or 30, depending on when the patch hits). Other than that, I don't know yet. This will depend on whether I choose to take up Alchemy or not. I definitely want to be honored with the required Outland factions for the set of blue PVP gear, but that's about it. I have no backstory rep requirements for Ahami that I can think of, either.

Kresha
- Get to 55-60.
- Mining and skinning (?) to 250-300.
- Figure out what the heck I'm doing with Survival spec.

My main goals for Ahami and Kresha are to have fun and explore. I feel like I rushed at a few points with Ideale. I don't regret it, really, because there's so much to do and see at 70 (and I haven't even seen all of Outland yet!) and I've had a great time getting there. However, there's a lot of Azeroth pre-BC that I didn't see, and I want to explore a bit more thoroughly with Ahami and Kresha, especially having seem some beautiful and intriguing zones while doing the fire festival runs with Ahami that I never even stepped foot in with Ideale. Feralas, for example, is gorgeous, and I missed most of the Eastern Kingdoms except for the Ghostlands, Hillsbrad, Badlands and the Swamp of Sorrows. I didn't even spend much time in the Plaguelands, since I was halfway through 56 when I got there and sprinted straight through the Portal at 58 ... though I'm sure I'll be seeing them plenty once Ide's mining is a little higher and I start spending my time there.

Since I have some hunter questing guides in the works (along the lines of the 1-10 guides, but focused on comparing zones), Kresha will probably be getting quite the workout since I hope to take her to every zone and do only the quests that give hunter-friendly rewards. Luckily, she most likely won't hit 30 before the patch. For all that I think that Blizz should keep the mount requirement 40 (because otherwise, what is the goal for 40? as far as I can tell, most of the class quests come at 20, 30, and 50, so mounts were a good goal for in between your 20/30 quest and your 50 quest), I'm still probably going to be getting my eligible characters mounted at 30.

These are my main goals for before WotLK. I have secondary goals, but if I don't get them done before November, I won't mind.

Daj and Onashne
- Get to 35-40.
- Get all professions to 225.
- Mounts.
- That's it.

I know Daj, my Marksmanship hunter, has been mentioned here before, but I don't think I've mentioned Onashne. I HATE respeccing, not because of the cost but because I lose track of where things are on my action bar, and because of how my memory works. It's easier for me to keep track of characters than to respec. I've been considering an elemental or hybrid spec rather than a resto one for Ahami, but didn't want to respec and lose track of everything. Since I wanted a tauren, and my tauren hunter on Twisting Nether has been untouched at level 8 for over a month, I decided to roll Onashne and level her for a little while as elemental spec shaman to get a taste. Plus I have WoW ADD and like to switch between alts when I'm bored, since all of my characters have backstories and personalities that are different.

I'd like to get my Alliance characters on Ravenholdt to 25-30, too. Tshaya's already there, and Dihas is just shy of 28, so this shouldn't be hard; I'd just have to level my draenei shaman and my nelf druid, both of whom are at level 8. While I rarely play them, I like to take breaks from Venture Co. every so often, and I'd like to be able to do something with these characters. I'd also like to try a druid, and I think I'd do better with a night elf since I hate the tauren cat form (and yes, that would be enough to make me never play the character).

If I have the time and get bored with my secondary goals, I'd also like to roll a paladin on VeCo. I like my Alliance paladin on Laughing Skull, but I only play her with my friends over there, and we're only on at the same time, like, once a month. I might — MIGHT — hold off for a Death Knight, though. I wasn't going to play one at all — I'm fairly uninterested in the class in general and the rune system sounds like it would frustrate me as much as the rage bar. However, the Unholy tree sounds kind of awesome in many ways, and I will, of course, want to explore the starting zone.
